Well Cost Specialist/Trainee

In support of current and future drilling campaigns, we are seeking a Well Cost Specialist based in our Great Yarmouth office. Work includes:-

• Preparing well cost estimates and Approval For Expenditure (AFE) documents
• Estimating daily well cost on VOWD (Value of Work Done) and Committed Cost basis
• Receipting and validating vendor invoices
• Reconciling estimated well costs against invoices received
• Financial analysis and management reports

The role is full-time, based in our Great Yarmouth Offices. Salary is negotiable and is commensurate with experience and abilities.

Applicants must be professional in their outlook with excellent team working and communication skills, proficient with MS Excel and Word and keen to work in the offshore energy industry. Higher education and at least 3 years’ work experience is preferred, ideally in accountancy, project cost accounting or a similar numerate discipline. Training is available for strong candidates lacking experience in this specialist field. A minimum of two references and proof of right to work in the UK will be required.
