Senior Drilling Supervisor - Jackup

With continued expansion we are seeking exceptional individuals for assignment as Senior Drilling Supervisor. Deployment is for jackup work on challenging development and exploration wells in the UK Southern North Sea on a 2:2 rotation. Onshore work-up for these projects is in progress with rig operations commencing at various points throughout 2012.

Workscope
Coordination and management of wellsite activities in accordance with drilling, completion and test programmes. Taking the lead in managing well control, well integrity, safety and environmental issues at the wellsite, ensuring compliance with client and FOL Management Systems. Personally supervise non-routine operations on the rig floor, cement unit and wherever else necessary. Chair morning calls and daily operations meetings. Attend pre-tour and pre-job meetings. Maintain an overview of logistics and cost tracking functions. Coach, develop and mentor night drilling supervisors and wellsite engineers.

Required Skills/Experience
20 years + experience in offshore drilling. Extensive North Sea experience on mobile rigs with an engineering or drilling contractor background and wellsite leadership capability. Strong work ethic, excellent team working and communication skills; fluency in English required. Candidates must be able to provide at least two referees at Drilling Superintendent /Manager level.

Certification
Medical, Fire-fighting and Survival Certification, IWCF Well Control at Supervisor Level.
