Night Drilling Supervisor

We are currently embarking on a 3-rig programme of activity for 2012 and 2013 in support of which we are seeking an exceptional individual for a long-term position as Night Drilling Supervisor on jackup work in the UK Southern North Sea on a 2:2 rotation.

Reporting to the Senior Drilling Supervisor the role demands hands-on rig floor experience and the ability to deal with challenging downhole conditions.

Workscope
Duties include management of wellsite activities, taking a lead role in managing well control, well integrity, safety and environmental issues. Ensuring compliance with client and FOL Management Systems and personal supervision of all non-routine operations.

Required Skills/Experience
10 years + experience in offshore drilling with recent North Sea experience on mobile rigs. An engineering or drilling contractor background. Strong work ethic, excellent team working and communication skills; fluency in written and spoken English required. Candidates must be able to provide at least two referees at Drilling Superintendent/Supervisor level.

Certification
Medical, Fire-fighting and Survival Certification, IWCF Well Control at Supervisor Level.
