Operating in the geologically-complex area of the Southern North Sea, FOL rig teams have a proven ability to overcome drilling challenges including salt squeeze, mud losses, stuck pipe, hole instability and high-pressure kick / loss events. Beyond the SNS, our rig teams also operate in the East Irish Sea and Central North Sea.

Our clients are international oil and gas companies, for whom we act as a "bolt-on" well engineering group. In order to merge seamlessly with client structures, our rig teams adopt the corporate identity and policy base of our clients. 

Our people are our strength - we therefore engage heavily in training and development. Our engineers are degree-qualified professionals with hands-on wellsite experience working under a formal competency framework.

Our training programme for graduate engineers includes rig crew experience, classroom training and work experience both onshore and offshore.

We are based at the Beacon Innovation Centre, Great Yarmouth - a modern, high-quality facility with electronic security and ample parking, positioned at the heart of the offshore oil and gas supply chain.
